For marinating:

  • Chicken 1 kg
  • Chili powder 1 tsp
  • Curd or Yogurt 1/4 cup
  • Ginger&Garlic paste 2 tbsp
  • Turmeric powder 1/4 tsp
  • Lemon Juice 2 tsp
  • Salt

For roasting:

  • Oil
  • Chopped onion 2 cups
  • Green Chili 4
  • Ginger Julienne
  • Curry leaves
  • Pepper powder 2 1/2 tbsp


  • Marinate the chicken with the Ingredients listed for marination
  • Mix and coat them with chicken well, set aside for at least 30 minutes
  • Longer marination will improve the taste
  • Heat the oil in pan (medium flame), and start to fry the chicken
  • Fry the chicken both side 10 mins or until chicken done cooking
  • Remove the chicken from oil and keep aside for roasting
  • Clean the pan or use the new pan, heat and add oil
  • Add chopped onion, green chili, ginger Julianne and saute them for few mins
  • Add the fried chicken
  • Add few curry leaves
  • Sprinkle pepper power and coat well in medium flame
  • Add few curry leaves
  • Garnish with fried curry leaves, and serve.
